Ministry is simply developing lives by pointing people to Jesus. Here at PHCC we strive to help develop everyone who comes through our doors. You will find a ministry here that will help develop your unique life, if you don't fine it we will build it, because the church is simply about coming together to help point each other to Jesus Christ.
Our Ministries
Life Groups
Life Groups is where we ask our questions and get our answers. In a time when questions are great and the need to find meaning to life is even greater we need a place to find our answers. At PHCC our Life Groups are centered on developing people. Life Groups deal with life issues, and help you over come the strongholds that plague your life. Our Life Groups are place where you can find people just like you and build meaningul relationhips with each other and with Jesus Christ. Men
OVERWATCH-KINGDOM MEN
Def. Overwatch-To weary or exhaust by keeping awake; to watch through or throughout (as the night); to watch over.
Overwatch is to develop the lives of men and direct them to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. How to vest lead, provide and protect their families as Christ does for us.
Overwatch seeks to have all men involved, glorify God and His Kingdom by becoming warriors for Jesus Christ. This will be accomplished by applying God's word to the issue's men face in life. By teaching men how to be intentionally Christ centered. And taking part in genuine fellowship to bond with one another and live a life that glorifies God.
Women
Women Warriors is a women's ministry that helps women to be warrior's of faith. Helping women to rise up and be the mother's of their children and wives to their husbands. Women of faith to stand strong in their conviction and relationship with Jesus Christ. To be women warriors is to genuinely love God, their families, and live a life that glorifies God.
Children
Our Children's Ministry has three ministries to help meet your children's needs.
Christ Crawlers-our nursery ministry that shows the love of Christ to your little one with the care and nurturing they need to see and experience Jesus.
Mountain Movers-is our program for your children during our worship service. Mountain Movers is an engaging time for your child to learn to be equipped to know how they can move mountains in their life.
Awana-helps churches and parents partner to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. A recent national survey found Awana to be as important to our alumni spiritual foundation as all other church activities combined. Among alumni who participated in Awana for at least six years, and whose parents ere involved in their spiritual growth, 92.7 percent still attend church at least weekly as adults.
Youth
Elevation YM is the teen ministries of PHCC that helps elevate teens to rise above the things of this world and walk with Jesus Christ. As Jesus was lifted up as payment for our wrongs we must rise up to put to death our selfish desires and live for Him. Living Sacrifices holy and acceptable to God.
Music
Music is one of the most important experiences in the church worship. Music prepares the mind and soul to receive God's truth. It is our praises to God that glorifies all that He is and does for us. PHCC's music ministry helps develop musicians or would be musicians to learn to enhance their own skills and to help lift others up in their worship and glorifying of our God.
Evangelism /
Missions
Evangelism and missions go hand and hand. The Way Of The Master Evangelism uses Ray Comforts evangelism method to help train believers how to have a conversation with non-believers and help build a bridge of conversation to explore our need for a Savior.
Since we are a non-denotational church we support our overseas workers to help build relationships with those of different cultures and faiths to know that the God of the Bible loves them and died for them. Each overseas worker that we partner with is personally known by PHCC, apart of our family, and financially supported.
Military
PHCC partners with our military families, while they serve at Ft. Bliss, to help meet the physical and spiritual needs. Through our FEED program want to help you in fellowship to connect our military with others in the church to help meet spiritual growth, and physical needs. In evangelism we help train and give our military the opportunity to reach their circle of influence for Jesus. We equip them to own their spiritual gifts and give them an opportunity to build and hone those gift for the building of the body of Christ. Finally we deploy our military as they leave for another duty station to go accomplish the great commission. Our military and their families will be battle ready to build the Kingdom of God here in El Paso, and wherever God leads them through life.
Ushers / Greeters
Our Ushers and Greeting ministry is our first impressions and hands on ministry. When you come to PHCC you will be greeted with a warm smile and a good morning by one of our exceptional ushers. If you are visiting with us for the first time you will be directed to our welcome booth where you will meet one of our amazing greeters that will be able to answer any questions that you might have about our church. They can help both new guess and attenders to be able to get involved in a ministry, buy curriculum, or an encouraging word. They are there to help you find your answers and your way around our church.
